Born in Chicago, lived in Missouri and California before moving back to Chicago to finished high school. Moved to Villa Park In 1962 so my children could have a good education and plenty of room to grow and have fun. My family grew to 7 children, 8 Grandchildren and 2 great Grandchildren.
In my professional life I worked for a meeting planning and convention firm tor 10 years and then Atlas Galleries on Michigan Ave for 27 years until I retired in 2016.
Have been very active in my community starting with PTA to Village President, Kiwanis, Easter Seals, Tri-Town YMCA, and Chamber of commerce.
When I am not busy volunteering, I love to travel, been to 49 of our 50 states, France, Switzerland, Japan and Taiwan. Reading, History, quilting and cooking are some of my passions.
I am currently serving as your York township Trustee and chairman of the Villa Park Police and Fire Commission. In 2019 I had the honor of being selected as Villa Park's Senior of the Year.
