Senior Events
The Senior Center offers a wide range of programs and services designed to enrich the lives of residents ages 55 and older. Through activities that promote independence, wellness, and social connection, we help seniors stay active, engaged, and healthy within the community.
From daily activities and in-house events to group outings and special celebrations, there are opportunities for everyone to get involved. Our staff also provides assistance with applications and access to supportive services when needed.

Patty Waszak’s Variety Show

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon featuring the Patty Waszak Variety Show at White Fence Farm! Patty Waszak is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, comedian, motivational speaker, and all-around entertainer whose smooth vocal style, lively personality, and talent on more than thirty musical instruments have made her a crowd favorite. Guests will enjoy her entertaining variety show along with a delicious luncheon at the beloved White Fence Farm. Lunch includes your choice of famous fried chicken or fried shrimp served with all the fixings, a baked potato, and soft drinks. Sit back, relax, and enjoy comfortable bus transportation as we travel together for this memorable day of music, laughter, and great food.

Join us Friday, August 28th from 9:30 AM–2:45 PM for a fun-filled trip to Chicago’s Chinatown. Travel aboard our private mini motorcoach and enjoy lunch at the renowned Phoenix Restaurant, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample authentic Chinese cuisine. After lunch, spend the afternoon exploring and shopping at Chinatown Square Market, featuring unique stores, gifts, specialty foods, and cultural attractions. This exciting outing includes transportation, lunch, and plenty of time to experience one of Chicago’s most vibrant neighborhoods.

Chicago Cubs vs. Milwaukee Brewers Bus Trip

Sunday, September 7
Spend the day at the ballpark as the Chicago Cubs take on the Milwaukee Brewers in Milwaukee! Leave the driving to us and enjoy a fun day of baseball with fellow fans. Your trip includes round-trip motorcoach transportation, a game ticket, and a lunch voucher, making it the perfect hassle-free outing.
The bus will depart York Township at 10:00 AM and return at approximately 6:00 PM.

Unlocking the Secrets of Your Smart Phone

Discover how to get more from your smartphone in this informative technology seminar designed for all skill levels. Participants will learn how to navigate the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, find and download useful apps, and better understand important security and privacy settings. This hands-on presentation will help build confidence, improve digital skills, and make everyday smartphone use easier and safer.
AARP Smart Driving Safety Class

July 24th & July 31st
10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Refresh your driving skills and boost your confidence behind the wheel with the AARP Smart Driver Safety Class. This two-day course focuses on improving safety, reviewing current driving techniques, and helping participants adapt to age-related changes that can affect driving.
