Youth Advisory Board
Youth Advisory Board Members
The York Township Youth Advisory Board is composed of residents who are committed to supporting, advocating for, and improving opportunities for youth within the community. Board members work collaboratively to advise Township leadership on issues impacting youth and to help identify gaps in youth services, programs, and resources.
Members are expected to:
- Attend regular board meetings and participate in discussions
- Identify unmet needs affecting youth, such as recreation, mental health support, safety, transportation, and enrichment opportunities
- Propose ideas, programs, or partnerships that enhance the quality of life for youth
- Engage with community organizations, schools, and families when appropriate
- Serve as positive advocates for youth in York Township
The Youth Committee plays a key role in strengthening youth-focused initiatives and ensuring Township resources align with the needs of young residents.
