Timothy Murray is a dedicated community leader and small business owner who resides in Lombard with his family. He has a long history of service to his community, currently serving as President of the York Center Community Board, where he has been actively involved for over 7 years. Tim’s commitment to local engagement includes volunteering with the Boy Scouts, coaching youth sports teams, and participating in the neighborhood watch program.

A hospitality industry veteran, Tim holds a BA in Hospitality Management from Kendall College. His career includes key roles with prestigious organizations such as the National Restaurant Association, American Culinary Federation, Hyatt Regency, and Carsons. Tim is now a small business owner, offering consulting and innovative solutions to national restaurant chains and retailers.

With his extensive experience in hospitality and management, Tim is uniquely positioned to tackle the challenges of key programs like the senior meal program, the Township food pantry, and the General Assistance program. He is eager to bring his skills in operational efficiency and community service to York Township.
