Electronic Recycling

Electronic waste is now the fastest growing segment of our nation's garbage production according to The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. State law bans electronic waste in our landfills and garbage companies will no longer accept electronic waste as part of your weekly pickup.

York Township Highway Department offers our residents a drop off location to help you properly dispose of your electronic waste. The location is behind the Goodwill Store on Roosevelt Road in Lombard. Please use the shared west entrance of Goodwill and follow the road to the Highway Department entrance. The Electronic Recycle Shed is located on your right side upon entering the gate.

Electronics Drop-Off hours are from 7:00am-3:30pm Monday – Friday (except Holidays). Please do not leave items outside the gate.
